Intimate Wedding at La Quinta Resort
Corrine And Drew

It all began with a tile from Rosarito, Mexico. Corrine's parents brought back these stunning tiles, and the intimate wedding design for Corinne and Drew was born.
In 2022, Corinne brought me on board to plan her intimate wedding at La Quinta Resort. Her idea was to have her nearest and dearest attend, and to exchange vows at her favorite resort, La Quinta.
Having vacationed there since she was a child, getting married at La Quinta was a truly special moment for Corinne. The San Clemente Courtyard, an intimate space, was the perfect location for the ceremony. Their family and friends traveled to La Quinta to share in the couple's love for the desert.
La Quinta's Spanish-inspired features inspired the theme, with the tiles being a prominent feature. The color scheme, which included orange, taupe, deep blue, and yellow, was a perfect reflection of Corinne's preferences. Her bouquet was a beautiful representation of her design palette.
The ceremony was made even more personal with a cross that Corinne's father built, which was adorned with flowers matching her bouquet. The seating chart was also a testament to the couple's love for tiles, with Corinne's dad building a chart that showcased the guests' names and table numbers. These tiles were rich in color and could also be used as coasters.
The reception tables were where the real magic happened. Corinne and I started designing the wedding with pieces of furniture from Adore Folklore, but the tables came to life when we visited Adore Folklore.
We focused on the terracotta plates as they had a significant impact on the tables and were the ideal color to tie in with the brighter colors of the flowers. The overall look was carefully considered, and we chose a semi-circle menu to complement the family-style dinner. The addition of stunning napkins with leather napkin holders added a touch of luxury to the place settings. The overall design came together beautifully, and we couldn't have been happier.
The margarita coupes were my favorite part of the reception. They added character and were the perfect finishing touch to the tables. Since the reception had assigned seating, we had to find a unique way for guests to find their seats. We decided that the guests would have to find their seats with a cute terracotta placard that sat on the side of their margarita. The guests raved about how beautiful everything looked all night long!
Corinne and Drew were a joy to work with. They had a vision, and we were thrilled to help bring it to life!
