Meet Sarah Bond

Event Planner Extraordinaire


I'm Sarah, owner and lead planner of Grace and Gold Events. I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky but moved in Southern California in 2012. I have such an amazing husband who believes in my dreams and I have a two boys named Ollie and Beckett who inspire me to be my absolute best every day. 

I have always known I wanted to be a wedding planner since I was a young girl. I started working for a catering company at the age of 16 where I learned key elements of planning but also was able to see how the catering staff works at an event. The more I became involved with a local catering company the more I fell head over heels in love with weddings. Someone recently asked me "Why did I decide to get into the wedding industry?" and I had the simplest answer, "I am a people person and love to be around happy people. There is no one happier than on a wedding day!" 

Grace and Gold Events home base is in San Diego but I love to travel as often as I can! We are expanding to Cabo and Hawaii in 2022 and can't wait!

  • Abby Tellers
    Abby Tellers

    Abby graduated from Cal Poly in December 2019 with a degree in Hospitality and has been apart of the Grace and Gold Team since 2017! Abby Grew up in Orange County, CA and loves the beach, going to Disneyland and a coffee lover! In her spare time she loves to binge watch crime shows, travel and try out new restaurants! 


    "Ever since I was in elementary school I knew I would have a career in the form of helping people. Weddings have not only allowed me to help couples plan and coordinate their special day, it is the day of that makes me the happiest. There is no better feeling than a bride seeing her groom for the first time or seeing the two dance the night away with their friends and family so in love. I love being able to be apart of a couple’s dream wedding!"

    Erin

    Erin graduated from Cal State Long Beach and went to University of Georgia for her Masters. She is an ESL Coordinator in Irvine but loves to be apart of weddings on the weekends.  She has been apart of Grace and Gold since day one and loves getting to know her couples! Erin has 2 kids named Siriah and Bentley and loves going to the beach, reading books, and enjoying time with her family!

    Carissa LaRue

    Carissa graduated from California State University of Fullerton! She has always loved planning parties for friends and family, along with work parties at her father's company. She loved planning her wedding with the help of Grace and Gold events in 2019, and fell in love with the planning process, She recently joined the Grace and Gold family as Sarah Bond's assistant, and has been apart of the planning process for many weddings.

    She loves serving others and cannot wait to help her clients plan the wedding if their dreams!

    Sarah Salzman

    Sarah graduated from California StateUniversityPomona where she studiedHospitality!She started in the wedding industry 3 years ago where she did weddings from San Louis Opisbo to San Diego and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her apart of our family!

    When Sarah has down time she loves to venture around San Diego with friends and family or dive into calligraphy! She loves to cook and is always trying new recipes!

  • Korrin Zimmermann
    Korrin Zimmermann

    Korrin graduated from Anderson University in South Carolina with a degree in Psychology. She immediately went into the wedding planning industry and hasn’t looked back! Korrin loves working to create personalized weddings for each of her couples, especially the design process. 

    Before joining G&G as Lead Planner and Design, Korrin was planning weddings in Southwest Florida for the past 9 years, covering 50-60 weddings a year. Since moving to LA she has loved the shift in scenery and working alongside Sarah and the G&G team creating beautiful and memorable moments for our clients. 

    When Korrin is not working you can find her exploring the California coastline with her husband (& soon baby boy), brunching with her favorite people or cheering on any sports event!

"Oh my goodness! We truly cannot thank the Grace & Gold team enough for making our wedding day absolutely spectacular! Our lead coordinator was Erin and she was fantastic! She went above and beyond with every detail which made planning and enjoying our wedding a breeze. She was punctual, thorough, professional, and so easy to work with. From the start, Erin organized all of our vendor contracts and put together a timeline for our wedding day. Whenever a vendor would email or give me a call about specifics, my favorite response to use was “My coordinator, Erin, will contact you about that!” She solved tiny hiccups before we even knew anything was out of place. She was always one step ahead whether it was setting up decor, letting us borrow wedding items (I don’t need to buy 15 table number signs and a locking card box that I will never use again, hello!), or grabbing us an extra plate of delicious appetizers.
