Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort Wedding

Caroline + Will's wedding was by far one of my favorite 2018 weddings and Laura from Walking Eagle Photography captured it beautifully!
Caroline + Will are from my hometown of Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Carlsbad for Caroline's job about 2 years before they got married. The choose the venue Carlsbad Inn because the views were breath taking but it also allowed their family and friends to explore the little town they loved!
With Caroline + I both being from the South I knew it was going to be important that we add in as many southern details as we could! I have listed below some of my favorites we had:
- Will + The Father of the Bride's Suits were designed and made by Grooms Grotto. Will's suit jacket on the side had embodied C + W 10.6.18 while Caroline's dad placed a Father + Daughter patch in his.
- Will and his groomsmen each wore Vineyard Vines Bowties
- To give the ceremony site more privacy we rented green hedges where the the Letters C + W were attached and later moved to the white bar at the reception.
- The reception tables were set up as if we were back in the South at a dinner party with silver beaded chargers and a dinner plate and salad plate with the ivory napkin. The silverware was laid out nicely starting with the salad ford and ending with the dessert spoon. We also had a wine, water goblet, and champagne for each guests so they can have wine poured at the tables, and cheers to the couple with their champagne glass. And finally the last detail was the flower vases were sterling silver.
- Caroline's Blue Manolo Blahnik heels were her something blue
- Their favors were customized Trevis Tumblers with their wedding logo!
Planning and designing this wedding was so exciting! Caroline + I would always meet up at our favorite Coffee Shops (The Succulent Cafe + The Chocolate Bar) to discuss every detail we could.
Caroline + Will are two of the sweetest souls! Thank you both for trusting me and allowing my team to be apart of your wedding!
