Meet Sarah Bond

Event Planner Extraordinaire

I'm Sarah, owner and lead planner of Grace and Gold Events. I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky but moved in Southern California in 2012. I have such an amazing husband who believes in my dreams and I have a baby boy named Ollie whose cheeks you just want to kiss all the time!

I have always known I wanted to be a wedding planner since I was a young girl. I started working for a catering company at the age of 16 where I learned key elements of planning but also was able to see how the catering staff works at an event. The more I became involved with a local catering company the more I fell head over heels in love with weddings. Someone recently asked me "Why did I decide to get into the wedding industry?" and I had the simplest answer, "I am a people person and love to be around happy people. There is no one happier than on a wedding day!" 

Grace and Gold Events home base is in San Diego but I love to travel as often as I can! This year Grace and Gold Events will be heading to Palm Springs, Orange County, Los Angeles and Kentucky! 

I am a huge fan of a great bread pudding, a glass of Wilson Creek Almond Champagne and a great Lilly Pulitzer dress!
